  • Natania Trapp

    Natania Trapp

    Interim Director 

    B.A. English Studies, University of Miami

    Memberships: Association for Student Conduct Administration, National Association of Clery Compliance Officers and Professionals (NACCOP), San Diego Student Conduct Officers, National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), UC Student Conduct Officers, National Association of Campus and Restorative Justice (NACRJ)

    Involvement: Exemplary Employee of the Year, Co-Chairs the Restorative Justice Committee at UC San Diego, facilitates Restorative Justice Circles and Conferences, Advises the Community Standards Board, Two-time National Residence Hall Honorary Spotlight Award winner, Serves on several committees on Clery Act Compliance, Athletics Equity, Inclusion and Diversity, Behavioral Threat Assessment, Students of Concern, and Coordinates Respondent Support Services

    Before joining the Office of Student Conduct in 2006, Natania worked as a Social Worker in Florida, and as an assistant in a Law Office in New York, her home state. Natania is proficient in English and Haitian-Creole. She is also conversational in French and Spanish. Natania does not have much free time because she has a young son that keeps her very busy. When she does get some free time however, she loves to bake. Her specialty is rum cake! Her favorite part about working on campus is getting to help students get back on track personally and academically.

    Involvement: Facilitator training through the Center for Restorative Justice at University San Diego, Triton Transfer Ally, Undocu-Ally

    Before joining SAGE, Jordan worked as the Executive Assistant for second-year nursing students in Cork, Ireland at University College Cork in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Prior to that, Jordan grew up in San Diego. San Diego is also where she completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at CSU San Marcos and University of San Diego respectively. Jordan’s favorite part about working at UC San Diego is interacting with students at tabling events on campus. In her free time, Jordan loves reading, working on puzzles, and going outside to photosynthesize.

    Involvements: Restorative Justice Commitee, Triton Transfer Ally, Spanish speaker, First Generation Student

    Before joining SAGE, Dereck worked within the colleges at UC San Diego. He worked in residence life at Seventh College and in various offices at Revelle College. Outside of work, Dereck enjoys spending time with his dog, Captain Latte and playing video games. Dereck hopes to pursue his graduate studies in higher education and is looking forward to helping students navigate the various processes at UC San Diego. He is born and raised in San Diego and is happy to share some of his local knowledge!

  • Karlee Labrador

    Student Conduct Coordinator

    B.S. Business Administration, emphasis in Behavioral Economics 

    Memberships: Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA), San Diego Student Conduct Officers 

    Involvement: Hazing Prevention Coalition, Student Conduct Standards Group  

    Before joining the Office of Student Conduct, Karlee's background was in longitudinal qualitative studies and social sciences research at a Behavioral Economics and Decision-Making Lab for UC Riverside's School of Business. At UC San Diego, she has worked in several roles to support Student Affairs Case Management, International Research Hub, Basic Needs Hub, International Students and Scholars Office, and Seventh and Eighth College. Today, Karlee supports the policy development, implementation, and analysis of the Student Conduct Procedures, Residential Life and Community Standards, Policies Applying to Campus Activities, Organizations, and Students (PACAOS), various policies under the Policy and Procedure Manual, and hazing policies on the local, state, and federal level. She also leads the efforts for student organization non-academic misconduct cases. Karlee is currently completing her graduate studies at the Johns Hopkins University for Education Policy. Her favorite part about working at San Diego is analyzing how the policies reflect the evolving needs of students. In her spare time, Karlee enjoys reading and being cozy.  

  • Shirley Jones Boyd

    Shirley Jones Boyd

    Executive Assistant

    B.A. Organizational Leadership, California Baptist University, Riverside, California

    Memberships:  California Baptist University Alumni, Project Management Institute, Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society Alumni, Susan G. Komen, Affiliate Volunteer.

    Before joining the Office of Student Conduct, Shirley worked as a COVID-19 Family and Community Support Specialist, and Project Policy Analyst for the Student Affairs Tech Lending Program. Prior to joining UC San Diego, she worked as an administrative professional in both the non-profit and public sector. She brings to this role, experience as an organizational, mission-aligned professional, and is intentional about team building and collaboration. She aims to use her role to cultivate student responsibility and accountability within the campus community. As a newcomer to UC San Diego, the experience has been friendly and supportive.  In her spare time, Shirley enjoys producing and performing live spoken word events with music, live paint and other artistic expressions.
